AI Act Scan

Ready for the EU AI Act, without the hassle

Does your team use ChatGPT, Copilot or AI inside your software? Then you fall under the EU AI Act, and the AI literacy duty already applies. We handle it for you: a fixed price, in about a week, with a dossier that's ready for an inspection.

Why now

Two things that already affect you

2 August 2026: oversight begins

The EU AI Act entered into force on 1 August 2024. From 2 August 2026, the national supervisory authorities gain their powers and enforcement can begin. This is no longer an abstract Brussels story, but a date in your calendar.

AI literacy already applies

The AI literacy duty (Article 4) has applied since 2 February 2025. Every organisation that uses AI falls under it, even if you only use ChatGPT or Copilot. Your people need to know how AI works, where the opportunities are and what risks come with it.

We don't do scare tactics about fines. The Act sets a band of up to €15 million or 3% of worldwide annual turnover for this type of obligation (whichever is higher), and for SMEs it is the lower of the two amounts that applies. In practice, oversight usually starts with questions and remediation, not the maximum. The point is simple: you want this in order before anyone asks.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about the AI Act Scan

Does the AI Act apply to my business too?
If your team uses AI, most likely yes. If you only use ChatGPT or Copilot, you are already a deployer under the Act, and the AI literacy duty (Article 4) has applied since 2 February 2025. It doesn't matter whether you build the AI yourself or buy it in.
What happens on 2 August 2026?
That is when the national supervisory authorities gain their powers and enforcement can begin. The Act itself entered into force on 1 August 2024, and the AI literacy duty has applied since February 2025. 2 August 2026 is the point at which oversight starts in practice. In the Netherlands the exact division of tasks between authorities is still being worked out. The EU is also working on a possible shift of some high-risk obligations via the 'Digital Omnibus' (Nov 2025), which is not yet final; the AI literacy duty is separate from that and already applies today, so that is where you start.
How high are the fines?
We don't do scare tactics. For this type of obligation the Act sets a band of up to €15 million or 3% of worldwide annual turnover, whichever is higher. For SMEs the lower of the two amounts applies. In practice oversight usually starts with questions and remediation. The real argument is that you simply want this in order, for your clients and your own peace of mind.
How long does it take?
Usually about a week, depending on how much AI you use and how quickly we get access and input from you. We agree on a realistic timeline up front.
What do I have to do myself?
Not much. We do the scan, the register, the policy and the training. You give us access to what we need and some input on how you work. After that you get a complete dossier that you only have to keep up to date.
Why Delahaye and not a consultancy?
Because we build AI ourselves. Loek is an ex-CTO and built an autonomous agentic system that develops software on its own. We know AI from the inside, which means we spot the real risks and the real opportunities faster. Fixed price, short lines, no jargon.
Can I offer this under my own brand?
Yes. For accountants and MSPs we can deliver the AI Act Scan white-label, so you offer it to your clients under your own name. We discuss that on request.
